REMINDER: Summer Break August 5-25
There are no lessons August 5-25 for summer lesson break. Fall lessons resume the week of August 26th. Try the “Keep Practicing During Summer Vacation” for some excellent practicing hints. Ask your parents to initial practice sheets. Watch your postal mail for fall lesson information!

Reminder: No Lessons 7/24 & 7/25
There are no lessons Wednesday, July 24 & Thursday, July 25th so I can participate in National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy. Wednesday student’s last summer lesson is Wednesday, July 31st. Thursday student’s last summer lesson is Thursday, August 1st. Summer break is Mon. August 5 – Sun. August 25 as previously announced for all students. Thank you!

1) A list of upcoming lesson holidays for August 2019 – August 2020. If you are aware of any absences during this time period please let me know. The next lesson break is August 5 – 25, 2019.
2) Fall lesson information will be mailed the week of August 12th. This includes updated
policy and registration forms; group lesson schedule requests and information about our fall PADS fundraiser.
3) AIM Theory Exams are Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 and AIM Performance Exams are Saturday, March 7, 2020.
4) Our tentative spring concert date is Sunday, March 22, 2020, with a practice scheduled the afternoon of Saturday, March 21st. Dates are pending facility availability.
5) Congratulations to Nathan L. who achieved 400 Days of continuous piano practice. His name will appear in September’s “Piano Explorer” magazine.
Piano & Voice Tentative 2020 Concert Dates
Our Spring 2020 Concerts are tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 22nd at 1:30 and 3:00 pm with Saturday, March 21 Practice Run-Through (scheduled in 5-minute intervals) from 1:00-4:00 pm. Both will be held at Lombard Bible Church, 111 W. Park Avenue, Lombard; and dates are pending facility availability.

Level 3 and above eligible for Achievement in Music Theory Exams will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Wheaton College’s Armerding Center. Technique preparations began last month.
Level 1A and above eligible students will participate in Achievement in Music Performance Exams on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at same location.
